This small privately run establishment is positioned between the coastal resorts of Salcombe and Hope Cove.

The areas are best known for their superb accessible beaches, meandering craggy coastal paths and breathtaking views.

At the Lodge we endeavour to offer a personal service, a retreat to suit all needs for relaxing or active breaks.

We als have a number of quaint self catering cottages to hire which are just a few feet from the hotel.

Our newly refurbished Bistro offers superb food and drink at very reasonable prices. The menu incorporates a high percentage of locally sourced produce: Cornish and Devon cheeses, line-caught bass from Salcombe, South Hams local livestock and vegetables and herbs from our local organic suppliers. There’s plenty of fresh fish on the menu everyday, but if you’d like to enjoy fresh lobster from Hope Cove or oysters from Bigbury Bay for a treat we’d be happy to arrange these for you.

We also arrange special set menus for large parties tailored to suit your gastronomic and financial constraints. This option is available from Monday to Thursday lunch and evening. We can also provide special celebration cakes which are hand baked on the premises. A Landrover is available for pick up and drop off of large parties, details are available on request.

We serve a traditional roast along with an abridged version of our evening menu on Sunday lunchtimes. This is a great opportunity to sample the culinary delights of Churchill’s Bistro for a set price of £12.95 for 2 courses and £14.95 for 3 courses.
